Would You Rather Be Better Or Better? (July challenge)

Daily

  • Don’t snap at Sophia. Really try harder to be more patient. She deserves the best mother I could be.
  • Drink ketones. I need more energy! My calendar is filling up.
  • 3 Sun Life – related activities. Become a medallion qualifier.
  • 3 real estate – related activities. 3 rental or sale activities of my properties. Got mortgages (plural) to pay, girl!
  • Morning affirmations with Sophia. We love doing this!
  • Journal – gratitude and blog. I found so much joy in writing.
  • 30 min meditation. Work harder on this!
  • Make bed every morning. May sound easy, and I know this is automatic for others, but the other way around for me. Why do I need to make it when I know I’ll use it again later (during pandemic it’s more like every 3-4 hours or less) the same day.
  • Deep sleep continuity of at least 70. This I am not sure how the smart watch measures and it is so frustrating.
  • Eat fruits and vegetables every day, except Sundays (it is ok).

Weekly

  • Saturday, cook something with Sophia. Nothing fancy, just simple ones like maybe eggs. Wait, does popcorn count?
  • Sunday, have food delivered and movie time with Sophia. She enjoys anime lately, and frankly, so have I.
  • Attend 2 trainings. I need to improve on my craft.

For the month

  • Underwrite 3 lives. At least.
  • Rent out 3 units, sell at least 1 (or half with August, if that makes sense). Both others and my properties.
  • Finish 2 books.
  • Be generally better! Aja!!!

I could not be prouder of my daughter! I have been trying to make her eat better and all but to no avail. She see me doing challenges etc and I have found out it works for her as well. So today, we start another month trying to be better!

  • S: that does not even make sense
  • M: of course it does, my darling. It means we do not have a choice but to be better
  • S: oh, I get it!
  • M: I still got a lot to teach you

Bonus to teaching her to keep striving to be better, is encouraging her to push her limits. For if only to tick the little box in her checklist, she will eat that raw carrot as a snack!
