Isn’t Our Goals Challenging?

I started this blog 3 months ago, and every single month, there is a post about daily, weekly and monthly challenges that Sophia and I are stretching ourselves to achieve.

I am naturally competitive, and when my friends talk to me about it (because I post daily updates on my Facebook stories), I say sometimes it is more to save face than anything else. I have learned that a very powerful motivation for me is announcing to the world what I plan to do. That gets me going. I am not sure if this is something to celebrate about, but as long as I get things done, eh?

If there is one thing I am glad about this exercise, is how it made Sophia a little bit more competitive, too. And it is exactly the kind I want to instill in her. To keep charging on and beat her past records. “Mommy, I am thinking there should be a day in the week when I would have a perfect score!” It has also developed her negotiation skills. “Mommy, if I finish my dinner early, can we watch 2 episodes of Black Clover?” And not to mention her increased creativity. “Mommy, I will add more activities to my list so I will get more things done.”

Of course, she is dealing with a smart(er) mother, so she added 3 more activities and I told her now she needs to do at least 15 to have a perfect score! It is more taxing now that homeschool has started. So we agreed on 10 tasks on weekends and holidays and 15 on school days.

One more thing, Sophia arranged her list from Z-A, and so I did mine alphabetically, too.

Daily

  1. Dance / Lose abs workout / Walk. Maybe YouTube will help!
  2. Don’t snap at Sophia. Really try harder to be more patient. She deserves the best mother I could be.
  3. Eat fruits, vegetables and fish every day.
  4. Guided meditation. Stay awake!
  5. Journal – gratitude and blog. I found so much joy in writing.
  6. Morning affirmations with Sophia. We love doing this!
  7. Sleep duration at least 7 hours.
  8. Take cellsentials. I need health supplements.
  9. 3 real estate – related activities. 3 rental or sale activities of my properties. Got mortgages (plural) to pay, girl!
  10. 3 Sun Life – related activities. Become a medallion qualifier.

Weekly

  1. Attend 2 trainings. I need to improve on my craft.
  2. Saturday, cook something with Sophia. Nothing fancy, just simple ones like maybe eggs. Wait, does popcorn count?
  3. Sunday, have food delivered and movie time with Sophia. She enjoys anime lately, and frankly, so have I.

For the month

  1. Finish 3 books.
  2. Rent out 3 units, sell at least 1.5. Both others and my properties.
  3. Sell 10 supplements.
  4. Underwrite 1 home loan application.
  5. Underwrite 9 lives.
  6. Be generally better! Aja!!!
