The Gift Of A New Beginning

It is the first of December! Being an atheist, the season does not really mean more to me than celebrating the holidays and the festivities that go along with it. We may not attach a profound meaning to the whole concept of the saviour’s birth (which I think I have read somewhere that it is not on December 25th anyway), but I am totally onboard with the idea of giving gifts and basically spreading joy. Especially at a difficult time like the one the world is facing right now.

This month, my blog will be all about gratitude. I am proud to say that Sophia and I are back on track with our gratitude journal. Today, I am grateful for a new beginning. So far, December has been my most-anticipated month of this excruciatingly painful year. Sophia is grateful for soduko, playing with her friend Aya in Roblox and December is here!

What are you grateful for today?

Always and forever grateful for this kid.
